From inception to November 30, 2022, the Company had incurred a cumulative loss of $61.4 million. The Company has funded operations through the issuance of common stock. The Company generated $48.0 million in revenue and net loss of a $7.9 million for the year ended November 30, 2022. It is expected that the Company will incur significant losses before the Company’s revenues sustain its operations. The Company’s future success is dependent upon its ability to raise sufficient capital or generate adequate revenue, to cover its ongoing operating expenses, and also to continue to develop and be able to profitably market its products. The Company believes that existing cash and cash expected to be provided by future operating activities are adequate to satisfy its working capital, capital expenditure requirements, and other contractual obligations for at least the next 18 months.
On January 19, 2021, the Company entered into a $5.0 million revolving line of credit, secured by the Company’s accounts receivable and inventory, and a $1.5 million line of credit, secured by the Company’s equipment. The Company has not drawn down against either of these lines of credit. See Note 12, "Line of Credit" for additional information.
In July 2021, the Company issued and sold an aggregate of 2,875,000 registered shares of its common stock (including 375,000 shares sold pursuant to the exercise of the underwriters' overallotment option) at a price of $21.00 per share. The net proceeds to the Company, after deducting $4.4 million in underwriting discounts and commissions, and offering expenses, were approximately $56.0 million. The Company is using the net proceeds from this offering for working capital, a buyback of its shares, and other general corporate purposes. See Note 13, “Stockholders' Equity” for additional information. Management projects that all cash needs will be met beyond one year from the time these financial statements are issued. |
