TORONTO, July 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Security Devices International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SDEV) ("SDI"), a defense technology company specializing in the creation of less than lethal ammunition solutions, announced today that it has received a request for its innovative less than lethal advanced Lektrox Wireless Electric Bullet ammunition from the Police of Punjab, Chandigarh, India.

The request, received directly from the office of the Punjabi Police Director General, asks for ammunition in sufficient quantities to carry out in-depth performance trials with Punjab's existing equipment and infrastructure.

"This is another major breakthrough for the Company," said SDI CEO, Sheldon Kales, who was in charge of the negotiations with the Punjabis. "We initiated marketing efforts to select armed forces.
