SDI Announces the Preparation for the Establishment of Manufacturing Facilities for Its Lektrox Lines of Less Than Lethal Ammunition

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/27/07 -- Security Devices International, Inc. (OTCBB: SDEV) - a defense technology company specializing in the creation of less than lethal ammunition solutions - announced today that it is extending activities around its two lines of Lektrox ammunition that have the company moving several stages closer to production.

Following the recent successful completion of the first round of live testing and prior to second live testing to be undertaken next month (mid December) the company has submitted additional patents to enlarge the IP of the company. These cover aspects of both Lektrox lines - the innovative electric incapacitation capability of the 'Electric Bullet' and the unique and highly attractive Blunt Impact Bullet.

At the same time SDI has begun the search for suitable manufacturing facilities for the first production lines of Lektrox ammunition. These will supply thousands of units for testing by already interested military and law enforcement agencies.

To make sure that production will go smoothly, the company has secured the highly experienced services of Rami Bellash as VP Operations to head up the manufacturing facilities. Bellash, currently head of an independent consultancy firm, was formerly VP Operations at SuperCom (now Vullance) and other companies.

In addition SDI has entered negotiations with several major suppliers for key elements of the Lektrox, such as its ammunition charge which will be manufactured by one of the world's most experienced ammunition suppliers.
