Security Devices International Invited to Military Workshop

WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 07/12/11 -- Security Devices International ("SDI") (OTCBB: SDEV)today announced that it was extended an invitation to a 2-day workshop in Israel that was attended by top Military leaders of the Northern, Southern and Central commands of the Israeli Military, as well as top officials of Israeli Police agencies. The purpose of the exhibition was to explore military products, including less-lethal products that will assist the Israeli forces moving forward into the fall of this year in the event that anticipated protests require the intervention of Peace keeping forces.

Representatives of SDI proudly displayed the Companies Wireless Electric Projectile ("WEP40") ammunition, and the Blunt Impact Projectile ("BIP40") less-lethal ammunition. There was a vast amount of interest from both the Israeli Military and the Israeli police to continue discussions and attend a live fire demonstration in the coming weeks.
